Welcome to Anylancer. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Anylancer LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Anylancer," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Anylancer website, platform, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, browsing, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately. We encourage you to read this document carefully — it explains your rights, our rights, and how the platform works.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 Binding Agreement
By registering for an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Standards, and Acceptable Use Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
1.2 Authority to Bind
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In such cases, "you" and "your" refer to both you individually and the organization.
1.3 Electronic Communications Consent
By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us (e.g., emails, in-platform notifications, and announcements). You agree that these electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using Anylancer, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement. We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to individuals under 18 (see our Privacy Policy).
2.2 Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction. If you are prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law, you may not use it.
2.3 Account Restrictions
Users who have been previously banned or had their account terminated by Anylancer may not create a new account or access the Service without our prior written consent.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
To access most features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information (full name, valid email address, country of residence)
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
- Choose a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential
- Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use
3.2 One Account Per Person
Each individual may maintain only one (1) account on Anylancer. Creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts, or transferring your account to another person without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
3.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Anylancer will never ask for your password via email or chat. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.
3.4 Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile and personal data will be removed or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. Platform Role & Marketplace Intermediary
4.1 Anylancer Is a Marketplace
Anylancer operates as an online marketplace that connects buyers seeking services with freelance service providers ("Sellers"). Anylancer is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We provide the platform, tools, and infrastructure — but the actual service agreement is between you and the other party.
4.2 What We Do Not Do
Anylancer does not:
- Employ, supervise, or control any Seller on the platform
- Guarantee the quality, accuracy, legality, or timeliness of any service offered
- Guarantee that any project will be completed to your satisfaction
- Verify all Seller qualifications or representations (though we offer optional identity verification)
- Provide tax, legal, or financial advice
4.3 Independent Contractors
Sellers are independent contractors, not employees of Anylancer. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between Anylancer and any user.
5. Buyer Obligations
5.1 Purchasing Services
As a Buyer on Anylancer, you agree to:
- Pay for all services ordered through the platform in full at the time of purchase
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate requirements for your project
- Communicate with Sellers exclusively through the platform's messaging system
- Review and respond to deliveries within a reasonable timeframe
- Not request services that are illegal, harmful, or violate our Community Standards
5.2 Payment at Checkout
When you place an order, the full amount (including the buyer service fee — see 7.1) is charged immediately. Funds are held securely in escrow by Anylancer until the order is completed or a dispute is resolved.
5.3 Off-Platform Transactions
You must not attempt to take transactions off the platform to avoid fees. This includes requesting a Seller's personal payment details (PayPal, bank account, crypto wallet, etc.) or offering to pay outside of Anylancer. Off-platform transactions void all buyer protections and may result in account suspension.
6. Seller Obligations
6.1 Service Listings (Tasks)
As a Seller on Anylancer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful descriptions of your services, skills, and capabilities
- Deliver work that matches your service description and the buyer's requirements
- Complete orders within the delivery timeframe specified in your listing
- Communicate promptly and professionally with buyers
- Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, portfolio, or identity
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
6.2 Original Work
All work you deliver must be original or properly licensed. You must not deliver plagiarized, AI-generated (when the buyer expects human-created work), or copyright-infringing content. Violations may result in order cancellation, refund, and account suspension. See our DMCA Policy for copyright procedures.
6.3 Seller Levels
Anylancer operates a Seller Level system that reflects your performance and reliability on the platform. Levels are determined by factors including order completion rate, delivery timeliness, customer satisfaction, and account standing. Seller levels and their benefits are subject to change at Anylancer's discretion. See the Seller Terms for detailed level requirements.
6.4 Tax Responsibilities
As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for your own tax compliance, including reporting income earned through the platform and paying all applicable taxes. Anylancer does not provide tax advice. Where required by law (e.g., US IRS 1099-K reporting for annual earnings exceeding the applicable threshold), we may report your earnings to tax authorities.
7. Payments & Fees
7.1 Buyer Service Fee
A 20% service fee is added to each order at checkout. This fee covers platform operations, payment processing, buyer protection, and customer support. The fee is clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase.
7.2 Seller Commission
Anylancer retains a 15% commission from each completed order. Your earnings (order amount minus commission) are credited to your Anylancer wallet after the clearance period (see 7.4). For detailed fee breakdowns, see our Payment Terms.
7.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment processors: Stripe and PayPal. Anylancer does not store your full credit card numbers. All payment data is handled in compliance with PCI-DSS standards by our processors.
7.4 Earnings Clearance Period
After an order is marked as complete, the seller's earnings enter a 14-day clearance period. During this time, funds are held to allow for potential disputes. After the clearance period, earnings move to your available balance and can be withdrawn.
7.5 Wallet & Deposits
Buyers may deposit funds into their Anylancer wallet to use for future purchases. Deposits are subject to:
- Minimum deposit: $10
- Maximum deposit: $1,000
- Deposit processing fee: 2%
Wallet balances are non-transferable between users and may only be used for purchases on Anylancer. Unused wallet funds may be refunded upon account closure, minus any applicable fees.
7.6 Withdrawals
Sellers may withdraw their available balance subject to:
- Minimum withdrawal: $10
- Maximum withdrawal: $1,000 per transaction
- Withdrawal processing fee: 2% (minimum $1)
- Limit: one (1) withdrawal request per calendar day
Withdrawal requests are final and cannot be cancelled once submitted. Withdrawal methods and processing times vary. Anylancer is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banking institutions.
7.7 Currency
All transactions on Anylancer are conducted in United States Dollars (USD). If your payment method uses a different currency, your bank or payment processor may apply currency conversion fees — these are not controlled by Anylancer.
8. Orders & Delivery
8.1 Placing an Order
To purchase a service, you select a pricing tier (Basic, Standard, or Premium) from the seller's task listing and complete checkout. Each tier clearly specifies what is included — deliverables, revision count, and delivery time. Once payment is confirmed, the order is created and the seller is notified.
8.2 Delivery
Sellers deliver completed work through the platform. When a delivery is submitted, the buyer is notified and may:
- Accept the delivery — marks the order as complete
- Request a revision — if revisions are available in the purchased package
- Open a dispute — if the delivery does not meet the requirements (see 10)
8.3 Auto-Completion
If a buyer does not respond to a delivery within 3 days, the order is automatically marked as complete. This protects sellers from indefinite waiting. Both parties are notified before and when auto-completion occurs.
8.4 Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled under the following circumstances:
- Mutual agreement between buyer and seller
- Seller fails to deliver within the specified timeframe
- Buyer requests cancellation before the seller begins work (subject to seller approval)
- Anylancer admin determines cancellation is appropriate following a dispute review
When an order is cancelled, the buyer receives a refund to their Anylancer wallet. The refund is subject to a 3-day hold before becoming available.
9. Reviews & Ratings
9.1 Leaving Reviews
After an order is completed, the buyer may leave a review consisting of a star rating (1-5) and a written comment. Reviews are a critical part of the Anylancer marketplace — they help other users make informed decisions.
9.2 Review Guidelines
Reviews must:
- Be honest and based on your actual experience with the order
- Not contain personal attacks, hate speech, profanity, or threats
- Not include personal contact information or off-platform solicitation
- Not be used as leverage to obtain services or refunds not agreed upon
9.3 Review Integrity
Manipulating reviews is strictly prohibited. This includes (but is not limited to): purchasing fake reviews, offering incentives for positive reviews, retaliating against negative reviews, or using multiple accounts to review your own services. Violations may result in review removal and account suspension.
10. Disputes & Refunds
10.1 When You Can Dispute
Buyers may open a dispute through the platform's Resolution Center in two scenarios:
- While the order is "delivered" — if the delivery does not meet the requirements and all available revisions have been exhausted, you may open a dispute instead of accepting.
- After completing and reviewing an order — you have an additional 3 days after the completion date to open a dispute (e.g., if you discover plagiarism or issues after accepting the work).
10.2 Dispute Process
When a dispute is opened:
- The seller's earnings for that order are frozen (not released during clearance)
- The seller receives a notification and has 3 days to respond with their side and evidence
- Both parties may submit messages and attachments to support their case
- An Anylancer administrator reviews all evidence and makes a decision
10.3 Dispute Outcomes
The administrator may decide to:
- Refund the buyer — if the delivery was not as described, incomplete, or of unacceptable quality
- Release funds to the seller — if the delivery met the stated requirements
- Partial resolution — at the admin's discretion based on the circumstances
10.4 Refund Processing
When a buyer wins a dispute, the refund is credited to their Anylancer wallet (not back to the original payment method). Refunds are subject to a 3-day hold before becoming available.
10.5 Finality
Anylancer's dispute resolution decision is final and binding on both parties. By using the platform, you agree to accept the outcome of the dispute resolution process. Repeated frivolous disputes may result in account restrictions.
11. Task Promotion (Boost)
11.1 What Is Task Boost?
Sellers may promote their task listings using the "Boost" feature, which increases visibility by placing the task in premium positions across the marketplace. Boosted tasks are clearly labeled as "Promoted" to maintain transparency for buyers.
11.2 Boost Payments
Boost fees are charged from the seller's Anylancer wallet balance. Boost pricing and duration options are displayed before purchase. Boost fees are non-refundable once the promotion period begins.
11.3 No Performance Guarantee
Boosting a task increases its visibility but does not guarantee orders, clicks, or specific placement. Anylancer reserves the right to limit the number of simultaneously boosted tasks and to modify boost features at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Ownership of Delivered Work
Upon full payment for a completed order and the expiry of the dispute window, the buyer receives full commercial use rights to the delivered work, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the seller's listing. The seller may retain the right to display the work in their portfolio unless the buyer purchased exclusive rights.
12.2 Anylancer Platform Content
The Anylancer platform, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and all original content, is the property of Anylancer LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.
12.3 User-Generated Content
By posting content on Anylancer (profile information, task listings, portfolio items, reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the platform. You retain ownership of your original content.
12.4 Copyright Infringement
Anylancer respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on our platform, please file a notice through our DMCA Policy page. Our designated agent can be reached at [email protected].
13. Prohibited Activities
13.1 General Prohibitions
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- Using the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, or abusing other users
- Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Attempting to circumvent the platform's payment system or take transactions off-platform
- Creating multiple accounts or impersonating another person or entity
- Sending spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional content
- Using automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or network infrastructure
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, search results, or seller levels
- Sharing personal contact information to conduct transactions off-platform
- Accessing another user's account without authorization
13.2 Prohibited Services
The following types of services may not be offered or purchased on Anylancer. For the full list, see our Acceptable Use Policy:
- Academic dishonesty — essays, homework, theses, or exam answers intended to be submitted as someone else's work
- Deepfakes and deceptive media — creating realistic fake images, audio, or video of real people without consent
- Gambling and betting services — any service related to gambling platforms or betting systems
- Cryptocurrency and financial schemes — token creation, pump-and-dump schemes, or investment fraud
- Weapons and controlled substances — any service related to weapons, drugs, or regulated materials
- Hate speech and extremism — content promoting violence, discrimination, or extremist ideologies
- Adult and sexually explicit content — pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Malware and hacking — creating viruses, exploits, or unauthorized access tools
- Personal data harvesting — scraping, phishing, or collecting personal information without consent
- Spam and deceptive marketing — fake reviews, fake followers, astroturfing, or black-hat SEO
14. Account Enforcement & Bans
14.1 Enforcement Actions
Anylancer reserves the right to take enforcement action against any account that violates these Terms, our Community Standards, or our Acceptable Use Policy. Actions include, but are not limited to:
- Warning — a formal notice recorded on your account with no restrictions
- Temporary suspension — account access restricted for a defined period (1, 3, 7, 30, or 90 days); active task listings are paused during suspension
- Permanent ban — indefinite account termination with all task listings paused
- Content removal — removal of specific listings, reviews, or other content that violates our policies
14.2 Admin Discretion
Enforcement decisions are made at the sole discretion of Anylancer's administration team. We do not operate a fixed "strike" system — the severity of the action depends on the nature, context, and impact of the violation. A single serious violation (such as fraud) may result in immediate permanent ban without prior warning.
14.3 Effect of Suspension or Ban
When your account is suspended or banned:
- Your active task listings are automatically paused
- Pending orders may be cancelled at Anylancer's discretion
- Cleared earnings in your wallet remain accessible for withdrawal (unless related to fraudulent activity)
- Uncleared earnings may be frozen pending review
- You will receive a notification explaining the reason for the action
14.4 Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] with your account details and a detailed explanation. Appeals are reviewed by the administration team. Anylancer's final decision on appeals is binding.
15. Privacy & Data
15.1 Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes in detail what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
15.2 Data Collection
We collect information necessary to operate the platform, including account details, transaction data, communications, and technical data (IP address, browser type, device information). For identity verification, we may also collect government-issued identification documents — this sensitive data is handled with additional security measures as described in our Privacy Policy.
15.3 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) are only activated after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner. Essential cookies (session management, security) are always active as they are necessary for the Service to function.
16. Advertising & Third-Party Content
16.1 Third-Party Advertisements
Anylancer may display advertisements from third-party advertising networks (including Google AdSense) on various pages of the platform. These advertisements are clearly distinguished from platform content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertisements or the products/services they promote.
16.2 Promoted Tasks
Task listings that have been boosted by sellers (see 11) are labeled as "Promoted" to distinguish them from organically ranked listings. Promoted status indicates paid placement and does not constitute an endorsement by Anylancer.
16.3 Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. Anylancer is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external resources. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' terms and policies.
17. Limitation of Liability
17.1 Cap on Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anylancer LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
17.2 Maximum Liability
Anylancer's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you have paid to Anylancer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
17.3 Third-Party Actions
Anylancer is not liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any user (buyer or seller) on the platform. All transactions are between users, and Anylancer serves only as an intermediary (see 4).
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anylancer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the platform
- Warranties regarding the quality of services provided by Sellers
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anylancer LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of or access to the Service
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any rights of a third party (including intellectual property rights)
- Any content you post, upload, or transmit through the Service
- Any service you provide or receive through the platform
20. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
20.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute proceeding, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.
20.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Delaware, United States, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
20.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Anylancer.
20.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights or other violations that require immediate remedy.
21. Force Majeure
Anylancer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, hurricane, wildfire)
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action
- Internet or telecommunications infrastructure failures
- Cyberattacks, DDoS attacks, or security breaches by third parties
- Power outages or server failures at our hosting providers
- Changes in applicable laws or regulations
During a force majeure event, affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.
22. General Provisions
22.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
22.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Standards, Acceptable Use Policy, Payment Terms, and Seller Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anylancer regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
22.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
22.4 Waiver
The failure of Anylancer to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Anylancer.
22.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Anylancer may assign its rights and obligations without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
22.6 Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify users via email and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account.
