Orders & Delivery
Understanding the complete order lifecycle on Anylancer.
Order Lifecycle
Every order goes through these stages:
- Pending — Order placed, awaiting buyer's project requirements
- In Progress — Requirements submitted, seller is working
- Delivered — Seller has submitted their work
- Completed — Buyer accepted (or auto-completed after 3 days)
- Clearance — 14-day hold before seller can withdraw
Submitting Requirements
After placing an order, you'll be asked to provide your project requirements. This is your chance to give the seller everything they need to deliver great work:
- Describe your project goals clearly
- Attach reference files, brand guidelines, or examples
- Specify any preferences (colors, style, format, etc.)
- Include any text content needed for the deliverable
Delivery
When the seller completes the work, they'll submit a delivery through the platform. You'll receive a notification. Review the delivery carefully:
- Accept — If you're satisfied, mark the order as complete
- Request Revision — If changes are needed (uses your included revisions)
- Open Dispute — If the delivery doesn't match what was promised
Revisions
Each pricing tier includes a set number of revisions. When requesting a revision:
- Be specific about what needs to change
- Reference the original requirements or listing description
- Don't add new requirements beyond the original scope
Auto-Complete
If you don't respond to a delivery within 3 days, the order automatically completes. This protects sellers from indefinite delays. Make sure to review deliveries promptly.
Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled in certain situations:
- Mutual cancellation — Both buyer and seller agree to cancel
- Seller fails to deliver — You can request cancellation after the delivery deadline
- Admin cancellation — If a policy violation is detected
Cancelled orders are refunded to the buyer's wallet.
Order Messages
Each order has a built-in chat for project communication. Keep all project discussions within the order chat — this creates a record that protects both parties in case of disputes.
